Today we had the Creative Islington event where a number of creative companies borough wide specialising in the various arts disciplines ranging from London Symphony Orchestra to National Youth Theatre, were invited. The events purpose was to inform the rest of the borough’s creative community what our new centre for young people is all about.
Part of the event, which we the young advisors led was quite practical and crafty. It involved creating a physical representation of Islington and where the various companies attending were geographically located, what they do and what they’re planning on doing next summer in time for our Grand Launch!!!
